Learn how to connect Dropleather to Etsy and start selling your products.
What the integration does
01. Push products from Dropleather to Etsy
One-click sync of any product from your Dropleather catalog into your Etsy shop as a draft listing. Title, description, price, images, size variations, and materials are sent to Etsy via the listings endpoints. You edit and publish on Etsy when ready.
02. Receive Etsy orders in Dropleather
Every five minutes we poll the transactions endpoint for new paid receipts. When an Etsy buyer places an order, it appears in your Dropleather dashboard automatically with the customer's shipping details and the correct line items matched to your Dropleather SKUs.
03. Push tracking back to Etsy on shipment
When Dropleather ships your order, the carrier and tracking number are written back to the Etsy receipt via the receipts tracking endpoint. Etsy then emails your buyer with the tracking link automatically.
04. Keep connections secure
Authentication uses Etsy's OAuth2 + PKCE flow. Access tokens are stored AES-256 encrypted at rest with AWS KMS envelope encryption. Refresh tokens rotate proactively — we never cache anything beyond what's strictly necessary.
Permissions requested
Dropleather requests only the Etsy API scopes required to run the workflow above. Nothing else.

What the integration does not do
We do not replicate or bypass Etsy's checkout — buyers pay Etsy directly.
We do not collect Etsy passwords or email buyers on Etsy's behalf.
We do not cache Etsy content beyond the brief period needed to process it.
We do not access data from any Etsy shop other than the one whose owner has explicitly authorized the connection.
